OH … this isn’t new to me.  You have to keep in mind that the drawn comic has always had some kind of wierd sexual angle to it since all the heroes in dramatic adventure stories have idealized physiques to go with their idealized personalities.  It’s been that way since the thirties.  Frankly, I see a lot of the same thing happening in most media so long as the plot contains action or melodrama.  it’s a ‘problem’ of our culture, not the comic in of itself. 

I want to see a serious dramatic movie that doesn’t have a bunch of chiseled bodies in fashionable clothing prancing around before I get upset about sexism in comics.
